With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey Majors Jr. of Roxboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey O. Majors, Sr. and Mathulia Taborn Majors; his daughter Trecca McGhee; and his siblings, James Franklin Taborn, Thurman Newman, Richard Newman, Ernest Majors and Helen Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Stacy Majors; his daughters, Ann Lester of Roxboro, Monica Jones (Amos) of Roxboro, April Majors (Marquette) of Roxboro and Jessica McGhee-Smith (Jerome) of Roxboro; his grandchildren, Ricky Thorpe, Jr. (Mary), Brandon Thorpe, Damian Tuck, Asia Tuck, Carmesha Tuck, Brianna Majors, Khalil Slade, Jada McGhee, Jaden Jay'cion and Jamire; his great grandchildren, Kennedy Tuck, Kameron Tuck and Zayden Thorpe; his stepchildren, Edmond Jones (Jennifer), Michelle Jones, Wayne Jones and Ron Jones; and his siblings, Willie Majors of New Jersey, Deloise Smith (Will) of Leasburg, Walter Majors (Allison) of Roxboro, Rosa Yancey (Willie) of Virginia, Nancy Brown of Philadelphia and Alfred Majors (Sindy) of Roxboro. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 306 Barnette Ave, Roxboro, NC 27573. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
