He was predeceased by: his brother Edgar Dewayne Yancey. He is survived by: his parents, Rena Richmond Yancey of Roxboro and Earl W. Yancey of Roxboro; his children, Eric Yancey of Roxboro, Jhaman King of South Boston, Virginia of Roxboro, Ashanti Yancey of Roxboro and Nicholas Yancey of Roxboro; and his sisters, Erica Yancey of Roxboro and Antoinette Richmond of Bailey. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
The lying in state was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
