He is survived by: his wife Rita Mangum; his children, Donald Mangum, Jr. (Tekela), Dedric Mangum (Reshay) of Burlington and Recca McKnight; his grandchildren, Jailan Mangum, Matilyn Mangum, Natori Mangum, Dravon Mangum, Darion Mangum, Damari Jones, Rashad Jones and Darius Stewart; his great grandchildren, Makhi Mangum and Kaison Stanton; his siblings, Laurice Hopkins of Roxboro, Melvin Mangum, Jr. of Durham, Addie Burton of Durham, Ronald Mangum (Claudine) of Durham, Snodine Harris (Ray) of Timberlake, Ella Mangum of Durham, Cherly Lewis (Travis) of Rougemont and Carol Mangum; and his godchild Jeron Wiley of Roxboro. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 211 Green Meadow Ln, Roxboro, NC 27573. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cunningham and Nelson Funeral Home (87 Brookland Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
