He was predeceased by: his wife Velma Rudd Horton; his daughter Vicky H. Hodges; and his siblings, Earl Bradsher of James Boyd, Thomas Aldean, Elbert Russell Horton and Foy Mae Horton Whitfield.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda H. White (Kevin), Wendy H. Bowes (Donnie) and Rocky Horton (Pam); his grandchildren, Kasey White Malone (Jesse), Alyssa Kay Weygandt (Daniel), Molly Catherine Fitzsimmons (Kenny), Coy Dean Horton, Jackson Bowes, Jessie Hodges and Jacob Hodges; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Weygandt, Tucker Weygandt and Georgia Fitzsimmons.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Timberlake Baptist Church (3035 Surl Mount Tirzah Rd, Timberlake, NC 27583).
