She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Sim Clayton and Mattie Pearl Wrenn Clayton; her husband Willie Andrew Clayton, Jr.; her grandson Rockie Stuart; and her brothers, Linwood Clayton, Howard Clayton, Jessie Clayton Jr. and Garland Clayton (Shorty).
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Clayton (Christy), Delores Clayton Stuart and Janet Thornburg (Craig); her grandchildren, Andrew Clayton (Kristin), Kelly Clayton (Ashley), Christopher Stuart (Erin), Johnathan Stuart, Matthew Thornburg and Leanne Thornburg Pulliam (Lee); her great grandchildren, Cole, Harley Rae, McCoy, Merle, Archer, Arlo, Maverick and Brantley; her sisters, Stella Humphries of Roxboro and Carolyn Fox (Nick) of Roxboro; and her sister-in-law Barbara Jo Clayton of Roxboro. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren, and great-grand children.
