He is survived by: his mother Anne Lanier; his wife Angie Smith Lanier; his stepson Jason Hill (Jessica); his siblings, Chris Lanier and Vickie Currin (Lee); his grandchildren, Landen Hill and Presten Hill; his uncle Alan; and his aunt Olivia Bottoms.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Somerset Baptist Church (141 Somerset Church Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573).
