She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther and Berta Rebecca Ridgeway Stone; her spouses, Phillip Vincent Donevan and Otha Richard Whitt; her daughter Carrie Lynn "Susie" Donevan Bowes; and her siblings, Gloria Smith and Talmadge "Junior" Snow.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip "Dink" Donevan, Jr., Rebecca Donevan (Rodney Weaver), Rita Donevan Wilhelm, Sherman Donevan and Juanita Whitt Dunn (Todd); her grandchildren, Rocky Bowes, Rebecca "Becka" Donevan, Chasity Wilhelm, Blake Whitt, Brock Whitt and Caleb Donevan; and her sisters, Katherine "Kitty" Stone, Linda Grady (Robert) and Rosa Thomas (Donald). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services (1810 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
