She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Harry and Gladys Lea McCullock Talley; her husband Victor Carl Walters, Jr.; her granddaughter Shayla Walters; and her siblings, Larry Talley, Janice Breeze and Sarah Mulholland.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Walters (Kathy) of Burnsville, Bartley "Bart" Walters (Bonnie) of Rowlett, TX, Victoria Carla "Vicki" Allison (Brian) of Raleigh and Roland Walters of Efland; her sisters, Geraldine "Gerri" Clayton of Hillsborough and Brenda Cook (Roger) of Cedar Grove; and her grandchildren, Jason Walters, Megan W. Haley, Colby Mattox and Evan Walters. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
