With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobbie Cameron (Roxboro, North Carolina), born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Joyce Marie Abbott; her stepfather Louis Abbott; her grandparents, Lena and Otis Cameron; her great-uncle Jasper Pettiford; her great-aunt Jessie Bailey; her uncle Otis Cameron; and her aunt Mary Abbott.
She is survived by: her daughter Selena Cameron; her siblings, Janice Coghiel of Mount Vernon, Carolyn Burton of Roxboro, Kay Lewis of Durham, Sandra Bumpass (Angelo) of Roxboro, Louis Abbott (Cora) of Mebane and Stacey Cameron of Durham; her grandchildren, Malik Cameron and Cameron; her aunts and uncles, Lois Cameron of Timberlake, Patricia Cameron of Decatur, Georgia, Linwood Cameron (Maggie) of Timberlake, Jasper Cameron (Pam) of Durham, Darrell Cameron (Charlotte) of Decatur and Richard Abbott of Durham; and her cousin Stacey Bailey of Durham. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Hope Person Baptist Church (1261 Tom Oakley Rd, Timberlake, NC 27583). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
