She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Oakley, Sr. and Gracie Alma Clayton Oakley; her husband Henry Hoover Loftis, Sr.; her daughter Sharon Ann Loftis Rice; and her siblings, Willie O. Suitt, Margaret O. O'Briant, Christine Oakley, Lucille Eastwood Turner, Evon O. Duncan, Virginia O. Clayton, Sue O. Latta, James Oakley, J. W. Oakley, Jr., Raymond Oakley and Lex Samuel Oakley.
She is survived by: her children, Henry H. Loftis, Jr. (Starr), Wanda L. Jones (Chuck) and Rhonda L. Bowen (Donnie); her grandchildren, W. L. Rice, Doyle Rice, Rob Slaughter, Andy Slaughter, Brandy Bradsher, Kelly Conner, Kaycee Tadlock, Rachel Jones, Andrew Jones, Bryan Day, Travis Vaughan and Tracey Atkins; her brother Carl Oakley (Lillian); and her sister-in-law Marie Oakley. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Fork Baptist Church (5124 N Fork Church Rd, Virgilina, VA 24598). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
