He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Ford; his wife Shirley Alford; and his adoptive children, Paula and Cortez Conn of Detroit Michigan. He is survived by: his son Isaiah Hendry of Dunn, NC.; and his siblings, Gladys Ford (Ronnie) of Parkton, NC., Willard Dickey (Wanda) of Washington, DC. and John Leggette (Faye) of Fayetteville, NC..
