Vernon Pleasant Brake Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 6, 2020, at the age of 89, Vernon Pleasant Brake (Rowland, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Waldo Brake and Margaret Elizabeth Pleasants Brake; and his brother Ralph W. Brake, Jr. of Rowland, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ann; his daughters, Bonnie Leigh Brake Gilbreth (Teddy) of Charleston and Catherine Brake Lee (Chris) of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Andrew Lee (Emily), William Lee, Catherine Gilbreth and Edward Gilbreth; his great grandchildren, Henry Vernon Lee of Charleston and Matthew Charles Lee of Charleston; and his brother Thomas W. Brake (Carole) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
