He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Locklear; his sisters, Rosie M. Bryant, Hazel E. Bryant and Ina Locklear; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Faye Jackson, Rev Edgar Bryant, Rev. Amos Bryant, Wilton Brooks, Ernest Locklear and William Oxendine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline Tonya Locklear, Samantha R. Strickland (Anthony) and Cessandra R. Locklear; his siblings, Tracy Bullard (Buddy), Cleo Bullard and Betty A. Brooks; his grandchildren, Lucious Locklear, Vincent Emanuel, Bobby R. Locklear, Betty Chavis and Patrick Sturdivant; and his close friends, Larry and Gwen Locklear. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
