He is survived by: his wife Nanette Sampson Jennings; his children, Richard Jennings, Jr. of Palmer, Shalyn Sampson of Rowland, NC, Jakob Jennings (Rachel Jennings) of Rowland, NC, Jessica McNance (Shawn McNance) of Arkanasa, Ashley Taylor of Shallotte, NC, Lashanda Sampson of Shannon, NC and Ariana Jennings of Rowland, NC; his niece Rakiah Sampson; his grandchildren, Lilly, Braylon, Max, Lyric, Zachary, Landon, Christian, Ethan, Jace, Asher, Clint and Harlie (Kenan); his great grandchildren, Kaydence, Aloneigh and Haleigha; and his siblings, Jackie Jennings of Red Springs, NC, Darlene Smith of Charlotte, NC, Charles Jennings of Charlotte, NC and Daniel Jennings of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
