With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Paulette Deese of Pembroke, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parent Vestie; her husband Freddie; her son Frederick; and her brother Larue Barton. She is survived by: her brothers, Glenn Barton (Linda) of Rowland, N. C., Trent Barton (Carol) of Rowland, N. C. and Larry Barton (Ruby) of Pembroke, N. C.; her daughter-in-law Gail Deese; her grandchildren, Magnolia Vest (Josh) and Zachary Deese; and her great grandchild Zayne Deese. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (2534 Cabinet Shop Rd, Rowland, NC 28383). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
