It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine McQueen (Rowland, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine McQueen to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Carter and Archanna Owens Carter; and her siblings, Marian Carter, Dennis Carter, Mitchell Carter and Glenda Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Lorie McQueen Carlyle (Randall) of Rowland, Kathy McQueen Lawson (Dana) of Laurinburg and Victor "Chuck" McQueen (Debbie) of Laurinburg; her siblings, Richard Carter, Marshall Carter, Jeff Carter, Tony Carter, Jerry Grimsley, Connie Farlow, Patsy Hendrix and Cheryl Prevatte; her grandchildren, Chris Lawson (Jennifer), Leslie Gilmore (Keith), Jeanie Everett (Michael), Lindsay Carlyle (Brandon) and Ross Carlyle (Maddi); and her great grandchildren, Billy, Weston, Ben, Charlie, Liam, Emory, Laikyn and Andi.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rowland Cemetery Rowland Cemetery (222 Rowland Cemetery Rd, Rowland, NC 28383).
