She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe "Hoss" Locklear and Fannie Hunt; her children, Deborah Hunt and Howard Owens; and her siblings, Margaret Hunt, Vastie Herring, Sarah "Punkin" Cummings, Ruby Ellen Locklear and John D. Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Hunt (Jennifer) of Loris, Samuel Locklear (Joann) of Rowland, Anthony Owens (Missy) of Rowland, Darlene Owens of Red Springs and Patrick Hunt (Rochelle) of Oregon; her sisters, Lucille Brock and Frances Oxendine; and her close friends, Barbara, Rudy Barnes, Faye, Kelsey Hunt, Diana and Bill James. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
