He was predeceased by: his parents, Ezekiel Alford and Janie Chavis Alford; and his son William Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Ella Bertha Alford; his daughter Annie Lee Thomas of Rowland; and his sisters-in-law, Eva Moore (Sam) of Chesapeake, VA and Christine Dubose of Emporia, VA. He is also survived by 5 grand-children and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
