She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Roosevelt Jones and Mittie Jane Jones; her son Anthony Lynn Carter (Hoss); her brother Rev. Eugene Jones; and her stepdaughter Candace Locklear.
She is survived by: her husband James Locklear (Love Bug); her son Tony Lee Carter (Lannie); her siblings, Nancy Jane Locklear (Brian), Betty Jane Cummings, Judith Ann Pierce (Casey), Irene Hitchens (Roger), Laura Vanessa Hammonds, Emma Kay Locklear, Rev. Matthew Jones (Annette) and Joseph Jones; her stepchildren, Scottie Locklear (Steph), Nikki Locklear and Christina Brewer; and her grandson Cody Lee Carter (Piglet). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, three sister in laws, four brother in laws, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
