She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Maxwell Cook and Linnie H. Cook; her children, Donna Kay McCallum (Stuart J. McCallum) of Rowland, NC and James E. Thompson of Orrum, NC; her grandson James Hunter Thompson; and her sisters, Nancy C. Whittington of Rowland, NC and Barbara A. Herring of Spartanburg, SC.. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
