He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Scott and Barbara Locklear; and his grandparents, Celia Mae Locklear, James Locklear, Dorothy Jacobs Scott and Jim Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Joston Lee Scott of Pembroke, Erickson Roy Porter of Pembroke and Nakiya Haileyana Chavis of Pembroke; his stepfather Clyde Johnson of Rowland; his brother Jamie Lynn Scott of Rowland; and his nieces, Remedy Scott, Kehloni Scott and Kenailah Scott. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
