He is survived by: his wife Lena Edna Ward; his sons, James Gaddy Ward III and William "Bill" Wade Ward (Vernetta); his grandson Zachary; his sister Ethel Ward Hill; his stepson Henry A. Freeman; and his sons, C. A. Pecorelli and Stephen A. Pecorelli. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
