It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Hunt of Rowland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 8, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Hunt and Florence Hunt; and his brother Crayton Hunt. He is survived by: his children, Anthony Hunt of Prospect, Bryan Hunt of Rowland, James Hunt of Rowland, Joe Lambert (Wendee) of Rowland, Prince Phillips of Rowland, Andy Lowery of Lumberton, Henry Ransom of Lumberton and Nidia Larios of Fairmont; his siblings, Alva Hunt Jr. of Rowland, Lynwood Hunt of Lumberton, Bobby Hunt of Lumberton and Peggy Hunt of Rowland; his grandchildren, Jared Hunt, Ashlon Hunt, DeCota Hunt and Joshua Hunt; and his great grandchildren, Izley Hunt and Ryleigh Demery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
