He is survived by: his wife Annette Hunt Sampson; his siblings, Joseph Bert Sampson (Jenna Dial Sampson) of Rowland and Ginger Jor-Don Sampson of Maxton; his cousin Trina Sampson Mearite of Rowland; his close friends, Greg Locklear of Rowland and Jennings "Scooby" Locklear of Rowland; and his pets, Olivia and Mello Sampson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
