He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Williams and Clyde Williams; and his siblings, Clyde Williams, Alford Jone Williams, John Henry Williams, Willie Lee Williams, Jessie James Williams of Winston Salem, Paul Williams, Hannah Jane McNair and Sadie Lee Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Pennie Williams of Lumberton, NC; his daughter Lavonda Williams of Lumberton, NC; his stepchildren, Sherell Gillispie (Ti) of Raleigh, NC, William Gillispie, Sheree Gillispie of Lumberton, NC and Damien Gillispie of Texas; his grandchildren, Sadiea Williams, Jayron Williams, Zaeven Williams, Jeremiah, Jalayshia, Naomi, William III, Mahsiah, Amor, Ryland, Oymeria, Damion and Elijah; his siblings, Corrie Oliver of Fairmont, NC and Robert Lee of New York; and his niece Linda McNair (James Watson) of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
