He was predeceased by: his parents, H. K. Walters and Bertha Turner Walters; and his siblings, Neil, Jennings, Nick, Voyd Walters, Ruby Nye, Fonnie Case, Ruby Carpenter, Dorothy Cashwell and Edna Kenyon.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby C. Walters of Florence; his children, Ricky Walters of Elizabethton, TN and Pamela Stone of Socastee, SC; his stepdaughter Mellonie Hatchell of Effingham, SC; and his brothers, Steve Walters of Dillon and Wayne Walters of Newark, Delaware.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
