It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Early Rae Hunt (Rowland, North Carolina), who passed away on October 11, 2019, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Josh Hunt; and his siblings, Mary J. Richardson and Belton R. Hunt. He is survived by: his children, Phillip Ray Hunt of Lumberton and Lanita Kay Hunt of Rowland; his siblings, Leonard Hunt of Rowland, Hal D. Hunt (Devon) of Lumberton, Timothy G. Hunt (April) of Wingate, Paula McLean (Danny) of Maxton, Joann Hunt of Rowland, Gloria F. Hunt (Ronald) of Rowland, Rita J. Sampson of Pembroke and Janice Fay Hunt of Rowland; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Hunt, Austin Hunt, Kelsey McNeil, Layla Locklear, Phillip Michael Hunt, Keno Chavis, Amber Hunt, Alicia Hunt and Jacob Hunt. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
