She is survived by: her mother Agnes Swett Strickland; her children, Kathy DeCesare (Carmen) of Tierra Verde, FL, Jerry Oxendine (Sherry) of Kenley, NC and Wanda Oxendine of Lumberton, NC; and her siblings, Katie Harris of Laurinburg, NC, Ernest "Buddy" H. Strickland (Linda) of Laurinburg, NC and Elizabeth "Lib" Locklear (Dewey) of Fairmont, NC. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and family.
