It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bulah Hunt of Rowland, North Carolina, born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Oxendine and Effie Ann Oxendine; her husband Willie Oscar Hunt; her siblings, Cassie Mae Locklear, Rosie Locklear, Doretha Oxendine, Gertrude Hunt, Viola Gandy, Verona Scott, Ruby Mae Locklear, Brazell Oxendine, James Howard Oxendine, Franklin Oxendine and Horace Oxendine; her children, Jeanette Blue, Patricia Baker and Jimmy Hunt; and her grandchildren, James Howard Oxendine, Chris Oxendine, Michell Oxendine and Ashley Oxendine.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hunt, Diane Hunt (Ricky) of Lumberton, NC, Larry Hunt, Charles Hunt of Rowland, NC, Terry Hunt (Gloria) of Lumberton, NC, Alma Jane Hunt of Rowland, NC and Emma Jane Locklear of Rowland, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 24 great great grandchildren.
