He was predeceased by: his siblings, Margaret Moody, Howard Stone, Lindsey Stone, George Stone and Hubert Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Mae Arnette Stone; his children, Teresa Stone of Pinehurst, Debbie Jones of Laurinburg and Ricky Stone (Karen Graham Stone) of Rowland; his sister Jean Baily of Waxhaw; his grandchildren, Steven Stone (Sarah), Blake Chestnut (Caroline), Kyle Stone and Jason Chestnut; and his great grandchildren, Addie Chestnut, Emma Kate Stone, Lorelei Chestnut and Thomas Stone. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
