She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Chavis and Annie Hester Chavis; her husband Alva Hunt; her son Randy Hunt; and her siblings, Joseph Chavis, Timmy Chavis, Annie Lois Hunt and Shirley Faye Holden.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Jr. Hunt of Pembroke, Matthew Hunt of Rowland, Andrew Hunt (Stacie) of Rowland and Lisa Locklear (Richard) of Rowland; and her siblings, Ricky Chavis of Fairmont, Jimmy Chavis of Fairmont, Helen Hunt of Lumberton, Peggy Eddings of Fairmont and Tammy Turner of Fairmont. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
