It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alva Junior Hunt of Rowland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Hunt Sr. and Florence Hunt; his wife Ann Marie Hunt; his son Randy Hunt; and his brothers, Crayton Hunt and James Edward Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Jr. Hunt of Pembroke, Matthew Hunt of Rowland, Andrew Hunt (Stacie) of Rowland and Lisa Locklear (Richard) of Rowland; and his siblings, Bobby Hunt of Lumberton, Lenwood Hunt of Lumberton and Peggy Jane Hunt (Johnny) of Rowland. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
