Agnes Mae Hunt Chavis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agnes Mae Hunt Chavis (Rowland, North Carolina), who passed away on May 12, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Hunt and Flowers Hunt of Rowland, NC.; her husband George Edward Chavis; her son Chester Chavis; her siblings, Johnny Hunt, Charles "Pete" Hunt, James Revels, Dorothy Hunt and Helen Hunt Locklear; and her grandchildren, Jerry Lynn Chavis, Jr. and Cary "Spanky" Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Chavis (Loleta) of Lumberton, NC, Jerry Chavis (Donna) of Pembroke, NC, Tammie Chavis Jump Lumberton and Mia Chavis of Rowland, NC; and her siblings, Charles Revels of Fernandina Beach, FL and Frances Hunt of Rowland, NC. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
