She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Earnhardt and Stella Earnhardt; her husband Pem Chavis; her brothers, Adam and Franklin Earnhardt; and her husband Jasper Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard Johnson (April) of Lumberton, Jasper Johnson (Doreen) of Maxton, Agnes Locklear (Pittman) of Rowland, Sheila McGirt of Baily, NC and Brenda; her brother Ronald Earnhardt of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Robert, Tara, William, Magan, Lachelle, Donald and Kayley; and her close friend Kathy Strickland. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boles Funeral Home Chapel (312 W Main St, Rowland, NC 28383). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
