He was predeceased by: his parents, Bell James and Mary Hall James; his brothers, Jesse James and Frank James; and the mother of his child Rose Raynor Walker.
He is survived by: his son Harry Lee James of Roxboro; his grandsons, Cody Lee Walker and Hunter Bowling; his great grandchildren, Isabella Kate Howell and Cody Walker, Jr.; his close friend Joyce Holder of Roxboro; and his pet Blackie.
