He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee Barton and Geraldine Cates Barton. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Ann Parham Barton; his son Michael Jesse-Lee Barton; his daughter-in-law Jessica Charity Barton; his granddaughters, Myra June Barton (Junebug) and Cecelia May Barton (CeCe); his brother Tony Wayne Cates; his sister-in-law Martha Hinson Cates; his sister Brenda Rose Jackson; and his brother-in-law Jack Parham III. He is also survived by 7 nieces/nephews; 15 great nieces/nephews and 2 great great nieces/nephews.
