She was predeceased by: her husband William Alexander Winstead; her daughter Lucy Bumpass; her parents, Roscoe Love and Carrie Lee Bumpass; and her siblings, Shelby "Tump" Hawley of Virginia, Rugie Flowers, Marion Ray Bumpass and Earlie Bumpass.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Godwin (Tony, Sr.) of Timberlake, NC, Vanessa Edwards (Joseph) of Roxboro, NC, Lucreasie Winstead of Roxboro, NC, William Winstead (Shavonda) of Roxboro, NC, Michael Winstead of Rougemont, NC and Tony Winstead of Mebane, NC; and her siblings, Vianna Ragland (Ted) of Oxford, NC, Nannie Williams (Catherine "Bug" Allen), Roscoe Love "Peter" Bumpass of Chapel Hill, NC and Sharon K. Bumpass (Larry "Lebbie" Bumpass) of Roxboro. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other additional relatives and friends.
