She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Yancey Vaughan, Jr.; and her siblings, Vivian Dickerson, Kathy Heatherly and Vernon Heatherly. She is survived by: her daughters, Janice V. Mooney (Ryan) of Rougemont, NC and Tammy Vaughan Pullen (Bryant) of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
