He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis and Penelope Biester Sykora. He is survived by: his children, Rain Sykora of Durham and Ashley Sykora of Timberlake; his siblings, James Joseph Sykora of Miami, FL and Cynthia Sykora Pollard of Rougemont; and his grandchildren, Eden Sykora, Bryson Howell, Aboney Howell and Brantley Howell.
