She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arthur Sheets and Luna Mae Parks Sheets; her husband Donald Lester McGee; and her siblings, Dorothy Medlin, Carl Sheets and Junior Sheets.

She is survived by: her son Bobby McGee; and her siblings, Charles Sheets (Lorraine), Harold Sheets (Ginger), Clara Godwin and Helen Bowes (James). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
