He is survived by: his children, Ronald "Lee" Hayes Jr. (Tammy), Robin Hayes, Vickie Crabtree (Tim), Vanessa Talbert and Diane Adcock (Richard); his stepson Jeff McKinley (Rachel); his grandchildren, Zac Harward (Etsuko), Amanda Scott, Josh Hayes (Carrie), Brandon Hayes (Megan), Rebecca Hayes, Cheyenne Crabtree (Bret), Cody Crabtree and Susan Hayes; his stepgrandchildren, Kristin Hassan (John) and Andrew McKinley; his great grandchildren, Tyler Harward, Leah Harward, Ryan Hayes, Scott Hayes, Josie Hayes, Noah Hayes, Caleb Hayes, Micah Hayes and Owen Hayes; his brother Chester Hayes; his close friend Virginia Farris; his siblings, Melvin, Carl, Rachel, Ida, Sadie and Evelyn; and his close friend Mike Scarlett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
