It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reba Ledford Helms (Rougemont, North Carolina), born in Murphy, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Grady and Grace Crisp Ledford; her husband Earl Anders Helms; her son Dennis Edward Helms; and her siblings, Earl "Dick", Mack, Dean Ledford, Joyce Ledford, Evelyn Wooten, Jo Ann Ingle and Ollie "Boots" Groner.

She is survived by: her son Bob Helms of Rougemont; her brother James W. Ledford of Clinton, TN; her granddaughter Renee Helms Knox of Rougemont; her daughter-in-law Myra Lewis Helms of Belmont; and her grandson Spencer Helms of Belmont. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice or the charity of the donor's choice.
