He was predeceased by: his parents, John Phillip Crabtree and Fannie Taylor Crabtree; and his stepson David Painter. He is survived by: his pet Milo; his wife Denise Van Hook Crabtree; his sons, Tanner Crabtree (Tommy) and Eric Crabtree (Amy); his grandsons, John William Crabtree and Carson Crabtree; his sister Ossie Crabtree; his uncles, Bryan Metts, Bill Crabtree (Matilda) and Clarence Edwards; and his aunt Faye Howerton.
