He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Elree and Ruth LaVeine Agnew Scott; and his brothers, Richard Scott and Robert Scott. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Scott; his children, Aaron Mark Scott of Rochester, NY, Kelly Scott Bailey (Bryan) of Seffner, FL and Meghan Wright (Charles) of Westchester, PA; his grandchildren, Aiden Bailey, Parker Bailey, Dante Wright and Quinn Wright; his siblings, Bonnie Scott Mullens (Howard) of Durham, NC and James William Scott (Donna) of Houston, TX; his niece Kimberly Mullens Brooks (Sterling) of Timberlake, NC; and his nephews, Donn Scott and Stuart Scott.
