He is survived by: his wife Tammy Pettiford; his daughter Telia Newman of Roxboro; his grandchildren, TaShan Freeman of Roxboro, Tamiya Freeman of Roxboro, Talasia Newman of Roxboro, Tristan Newman of Roxboro and Raheem "Big Mac" Edwards of Roxboro; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Cash Pettiford (William) of Fayetteville, Clara Pettiford of Charlotte, Nancy Pettiford of Detroit, Myra Pettiford of Roxboro, Linda Pettiford of Roxboro, Lydia Mevane, Bedell Pettiford (Bobby Ann) of Roxboro, James Cash (Ann) of Timberlake, Steve Cash (Joan) of Hillsborough, Randy Pettiford (Marie) of Roxboro, Lawrence Pettiford (Vickie) of Oklahoma and Kent Pettiford. He is also survived by loving relatives and friends.
