She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert S. Yancey and Mollie Eakes Yancey; her husband Robert Edward Talley; her son Terry Lynn Talley; and her sister Hazelene Yancey Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Tracie Thorson (Eric) of Pacific Palisades, CA; her grandchildren, Sarah Thorson of Washington, D. C. and Matthew Thorson (Laura) of San Francisco, CA; and her great grandchild Luke Thorson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Harmony Baptist Church - Elevator Fund, 1655 Mt. Harmony Church Road, Rougemont, NC 27572.
