It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester Wheeler (Rougemont, North Carolina), who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ester Wheeler to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parent Ollie Lewis; her son David Trent Wilkins; and her siblings, Shirley B. Jacobs, Robert Bowling and Bennie Bowling.

She is survived by: her parent Flora "Boozie" Taylor Bowling; her spouse William Burnette Wheeler, Sr.; her sister Peggy Mangum (Robert) of Roxboro, NC; her stepson William Wheeler, Jr. (Frances) of Oxford, NC; her grandchildren, Amber Wilkins and Jessica Hamlett; her stepgrandchildren, Christina Wheeler and Anna Wheeler; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Cagle and Alexander Cagle.
