Eleanor Day Gooch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2020, at the age of 82, Eleanor Day Gooch of Rougemont, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivey Day and Eleanor Clayton Day; her husband Harvey Hulon Gooch; and her daughter Lisa Pickard. She is survived by: her children, Melva Pickard Day (Graham Lee) of Rougemont, Victor Pickard (Susan) of Hillsborough, John Pickard (Pam) of Durham and Willie Thomas Day (Gladys) of Roxboro; and her brothers, Mervyn Day of Roxboro and Barry Lane Day of Yanceyville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
