He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Blanton and Betty Blanton. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Blanton; his children, Brandon Blanton (Jennifer) and Sarah Ross (Matthew); his pets, Toby, Roc, Rudy and Murphy; and his sisters, Joan Newton (Gerald) and Patty Brown (late Kent).
