He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon Ozzie Carver and Addie Palmer Carver; his wife Dorothy Bass Carver; his son Michael Eugene Carver; and his siblings, Daniel Ozzie Carver and Frances Carver Rowland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Carver Dickey (John) of Roxboro and Susan Carver Roach of Timberlake; his sister Edith Black of Timberlake; and his grandchildren, Jessica Vanvickle, Erica VanInwagen, Ronald Roach, Amber Roach, Ashley Roach and Tony Smith. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
